“You may have the universe if I may have Italy.”
– Giuseppe Verdi, Italian composer.
How it all began?
My love for Italy began in 2012 when I visited Rome for the first time, and I fell in love with the city immediately. Already in 2013, I moved to Rome. I studied at John Cabot University and graduated in 2016, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Cum Laude. After that, I had to leave my beloved Italy, but not for long.
In 2018, I entered a double-degree International Master in Luxury Management program. The first semester I spent in Reems, the capital of Champagne, France. It was an unforgettable experience, but I couldn’t wait to come back to Italy. The rest of my studies I spent between Milan and Rome.
When the regular classes were over, I found an internship as a Sales Assistant at Hermes in Rome. So I know what true luxury customer service looks like. However, March 2020 hit, and we all had to slow down and stay home. It was a hard time for everyone, and I was no exception. I was completely lost, with no idea of what to do next. What could I do to spend my time wisely?
I’ve started to put all my knowledge and love for Italy on paper, organizing the structure of my future blog to make it easy to read. I’ve realized how much I can tell you about planning a great trip to Italy, what are all the things you should know before coming here, and this is how Italy Travel Expert blog was born.
